Users can

effects to choose from that alter the colour/brightness of the image.
Friends can be tagged onto pictures/videos by their friends and hash tags can be used to give pictures personality and increase views. Users are able to follow their friends and other people that share the same interests. People can like and comment on photos that come up on their feed.

I
like Instagram better than Facebook because it is less addictive. It's a good way to
store photos neatly- like an online photo album. I would enjoy Instagram even more if it had a tool to collaborate multiple pictures to make
them into a collage- rather than having to download a separate app to do this.
